About two years later we have the iPad2 and its new high resolution sibling the new iPad, several Android devices such as the Motorola Xoom, and the Kindle Fire all competing for the attention of your readers.
Now, instead of a publication being created with ink on paper, layouts can be interactive and contain videos, slide shows or even web pages, allowing for the presentation of dynamically changing information.

EPub Services
Not all publications are suitable for conversion to interactive apps. In many cases the content is very static with just text and images. Examples of this would be novels, text books and the like.
If that's the case you'll want to consider EPub for publishing to Apple's iBooks, Amazon's Kindle Store and Barnes and Noble's Nook Books.
Epub's are HTML and CSS publications and are far less expensive to create and publish. If you're confused about your choices, and who wouldn't be, give me a call to discuss your project.
